Here's an international award-winning poem written by me. Enjoy! (And do share your feedback)
Does age truly matter in this grand design,
Or is it a notion we struggle to define?
In the tapestry of life, where stories are spun,
Let us delve deeper and seek wisdom, one by one.
For youth, like a blossom, bursts forth with delight,
With boundless energy and dreams taking flight.
The world is their oyster, a canvas unframed,
With endless possibilities waiting to be claimed.
But as the years gather like grains of sand,
Age begins to cast its mysterious hand.
The mirror reflects lines etched upon the face,
While time's gentle whispers echo with grace.
Does age bring wisdom, a priceless treasure?
Or does it confine us, a weight we cannot measure?
For in the depths of experience, wisdom is found,
A tapestry woven with stories, profound.
The young may scoff, their hearts brimming with zest,
Unaware of the wisdom that age can invest.
Yet, age is a teacher, guiding us on our way,
A lantern illuminating life's path, day by day.
In love's embrace, does age hold sway,
Or does it fade into insignificance, they say?
For love knows no boundaries, no matter the years,
It dances freely, defying all fears.
Youthful hearts may flutter, naive and pure,
Embracing love's passion with ardour secure.
Yet, love deepens like roots, as age intertwines,
Nurturing connections that grow through the times.
In the dreams' domain, where aspirations are sown,
Does age dampen flames once brightly shown?
Or does it ignite embers, a fire burning bright,
Guiding dreams through the shadows of the night?
Youth dreams of futures, vast and unknown,
While age lends perspective, seeds are already sown.
Dreams are boundless, age but a guide,
Fueling the spirit, casting doubt aside.
Success, the elusive phantom we chase,
Does age determine our destined place?
For success knows no calendar or year,
It blossoms in souls that persevere.
The young strive for glory, driven by hunger,
Unaware of the pitfalls, the storms they'll be under.
Age brings resilience, lessons forged in defeat,
Success is found in stories where age and triumph meet.
In the realm of knowledge, where wisdom resides,
Does age enhance understanding, a teacher by our side?
For knowledge is a river, forever to flow,
Enriching our minds as the years come and go.
Youth thirsts for knowledge, eager and bright,
Absorbing like sponges, curiosity's light.
Yet, age uncovers depths, wisdom unbound,
Seeking truths in the echoes of knowledge profound.
Friendship's tapestry, woven with care,
Does age create barriers, or can it repair?
For friendships are timeless, age but a thread,
Binding hearts together as memories are spread.
Youth finds camaraderie in laughter and play,
While age cherishes bonds through the years' sway.
Friendship transcends time, forever to last,
A testament to love, present and past.
So does age matter in this grand design,
In the symphony of life, does it intertwine?
It is but a chapter, a note in the score,
A melody that resonates, forevermore.
Let us honour the young, their spirits so bright,
And cherish the old, their wisdom's insight.
For age is a tapestry, woven with grace,
Each thread is a reminder of life's unique embrace.
In the end, it's not the years that define,
But the love, dreams, knowledge, and friendships entwined.
Age is but a journey, a path to explore,
With lessons and memories forever to adore.
Thanks :)
A beautiful poem indeed ❤️
